Often times we focus on what our EC3 kids are doing in the photos we share, and we try to explain the connection between “play” and development. But the real magic is going on in those cute little noggins. Emerson in the Tiger Room surely looks like she’s got some ideas to share! At this age, parents and teachers delight in budding humor, grasp of irony, and growing conceptual thinking. The first five years, as you know, comprise the most rapid period of brain development, so every interaction—from laughing at a good joke, to sharing with a friend, to smiling for the camera—helps to set our little ones up for success later in life. It looks to us like Emerson is ready for the big and wonderful world that awaits!
