Raising Funds–and the Roof–at EC3

Posted on by Elisabeth Tobia

If you’ve been holding back on contributing to EC3’s Building Blocks Campaign, it’s time to buy a brick.

Our roof is leaking in several places and it has been repaired as much as possible; now it must be replaced.

I’m gathering quotes and investigating financing options, but we are definitely going to need a bit of cold, hard cash to get us through the preliminary work. Like most small businesses, we do not have a financial reserve for such projects so we look to our primary investors–EC3 families.

One of the best ways you can help “raise the roof” at EC3 is by contributing to the Building Blocks Campaign. Click on the “Donate Here” button on the bottom right of our homepage, enter a donation amount ($250 per brick) on the secure Authorize.Net page, and write “Building Blocks Campaign” in the description field of the payment page. We’ll contact you to get the details for your plaque and you should see it on the wall in a month or less.

If you can’t purchase a brick, you can still use the same method to make a donation in any amount–simply write “New Roof Fund” in the description field.

Please share this blog post with anyone who knows about EC3 and believes in our mission to advance early learning. If our building fails, we can’t offer our high-quality programming to new generations of mid-Michigan families. But with the financial support of EC3 families and friends, our building will be as solid as the education inside it.
